Perfect for city-slicker singles and couples looking to escape the big smoke for the weekend, nestled in a rural setting far enough away from the big smoke yet only a few minutes from Koo Wee Rup- a town with one traffic light and all you'd need for your escape.

The Space:
It sits in the rural locality of Monomeith, 67 km south-east of Melbourne's central business district, Australia. Nestled 50 metres from Hunters Cottage and conveniently located behind the woodshed, with stunning views of the 65-acre greenery and plenty of room for a fire pit. Gumbya World, Philip Island Wildlife Park, and Koo Wee Rup are just a few of the nearby attractions in the area.

Here, you can enjoy your nature escapes with easy access to water, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for your use.

The Neighborhood:
It sits in the tranquil neighbourhoods of Monomeith, Victoria, 67 km south of Melbourne. The nearest residential areas are 200 m away (unless Hunters Cottage is occupied by guests), Caldermeade Farm is 5 mins up the road on South Gippsland Highway, and Phillip Island is only 50 mins away.

Our local recommendations:

- Gumbya World is a 20 min trip where you may visit Oasis Springs, amusement park attractions, wildlife adventures, or outback explorers.
- Philip Island Wildlife Park is only 66 km away, where you can catch a glimpse of the penguins, or cows being milked at Caldermeade Farm, which is 5 mins up the road.
- Koo Wee Rup is a nearby town with great shopping centres, takeaways, and restaurants. Larger townships of Pakenham and Cranbourne are a short 20 min drive in opposite directions.

Getting Around:
By car:

- 10 min drive to /from Tooradin
- 84 km and 5 min drive to/from Koo Wee Rup
- 1 hr 10min (tolls) drive to/from Melbourne CBD
- 20 min drive to/from Cranbourne and Pakenham. All nearby cities/towns mentioned are reachable by 2WD.

By public transport: Only accessible by car, but if you are in it to travel, the nearest town has a bus service available. NO TAXI SERVICE.

Other Things to Note:
- Good signal for Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone while there is no signal for both 2degrees and Spark
- Pets allowed by prior arrangement with host ; Fully fenced
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- No smoking allowed inside or outside the tiny house
- Please exercise caution when walking through long grass or riding quad bikes
- Shared compost and recycling bins are provided to dispose of rubbish properly
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge.

Pets Policy

- Any damage done by pets shall be payable by the guests
- Please clean up after your dog/cat shedding before checking out
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas, and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Always remember not to leave your pets unattended inside or outside the property
- We recommend that you bring your pet's bed, bowl, and basic needs with you during your stay
- Please take note to inform us 24 hrs before arrival, if you plan to bring your pets to our property

Guest Advisory

- We would like to remind guests that our tiny house follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank.

Important note:

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
