The Wheatlands Agricultural Machinery Museum is a vast wonderland for agricultural enthusiasts, particularly those interested in tractors, harvesting equipment, engines, and forms of transportation. There is an exquisite two-hour hike along the Yarriambiack Creek that includes wonders such as the Half Moon Bridge, a lagoon boardwalk, Shag Island, and two Chinese Gardens. The creek draws in a rich variety of local birds, and the gums along the banks give it a particularly peaceful feel. Lake Lascelles is close by and offers a variety of hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, and boating opportunities.
This is the perfect destination for those guests looking to get off the grid while having the opportunity to take gentle strolls along the creek, take a dip in the water, and visit the local boutiques, silo art trail, and historical sites.
