This cozy staycation near Yanakie Village in coastal Victoria can sleep up to three guests comfortably, with one queen-size bed in the private bedroom and an available pull out sofa in the living area. The bedroom is cheerful and airy, with lace curtains over the windows and an en suite bathroom with a standing shower and warm, plush towels hanging from the racks. The lounge area and kitchen both occupy the same room, with a small round breakfast table where guests can eat before heading out into the national park or onto the beaches on the peninsula. The covered front deck is furnished with a patio table and chairs and a small gas grill, providing an ideal retreat for a barbecue or a cookout after a long day on the coast.
Each cabin is built to suit a couple, but can accommodate up to three guests at a time, with beds and an en suite bathroom as well as a well-equipped kitchenette. Each kitchenette includes a refrigerator, toaster, microwave, electric stove, coffee maker, and cooking utensils. There is a flat screen TV with a DVD player and selection of DVDs, as well as an iPod dock and an in-room safe. Guests of Yanakie will find plenty to do right in the vicinity of the accommodation, with national park, beaches, scenic drives, and hikes all located under half an hour from the property. Guests can walk right outside the front gates for a coffee or breakfast at the Wilsons Prom Bakery and Café before heading to the peninsula to explore the waterfalls, rainforests, and coastal sands of the ‘Prom’ National Park, or grab a bite from the Yanakie General Store before setting out on one of the peaceful walks through the Victoria countryside. There are numerous fishing spots nearby, from Shallow Inlet to Duck Point to Waratah Bay just 15 minutes away. Guests can also book a coast cruise with one of the adventure guide companies or food and vineyard tours with one of the guides in the area. Glampers can also meander through Foster and Fish Creek's art galleries, historic museums, and boutiques, or grab a meal at one of the highly recommended restaurants in any of the towns surrounding the property.
