This cozy cottage is located within the stunning landscape of Wells Gray Park in Clearwater, British Columbia. It can accommodate up to six guests within its wooden walls. It has two bedrooms, dressed in colorful quilts and handcrafted furnishings, and one bathroom. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed. The second bedroom, which is located just off of the living room, has two twin-size beds. The sofa converts into a full-size bed. The bathroom has a toilet, sink, modern shower, and a hairdryer. Whether guests are visiting this cozy cottage in the summer or winter, they will find the area to be an all-season destination. Warm weather offers whitewater rafting or kayaking on the Clearwater River, as well as hiking the trails of Moul Falls Trail and the summits of Trophy Mountain. Azure Lake and Hobson Lake are scenic spots within Wells Gray Park. Guests will want to visit at least one of the many waterfalls, such as Spahats, Dawson, or Helmcken Falls. Moul Falls is one of the only waterfalls that visitors can walk behind.
From beginner slopes to heli-skiing adrenaline rushes, Canada's mountains offer winter sports adventure for all levels. Clearwater Ski Area has beginner to expert slopes. Sun Peaks Resort, about 90 minutes away, has bowls, glades, and perfectly groomed runs. Mike Wiegele Heli Village, in the Cariboo and the Monashee Mountains, is about an hour north of Clearwater in Blue River. It features deep powder and high elevations favored by serious skiers and snowboarders from around the world.
The mountains, rivers, lakes, and waterfalls that makeup Wells Gray Park brim with activity on a year-round basis. Activities include swimming, horseback riding, wildlife and boat tours, cross-country and downhill skiing, mountain biking and much more. Guests will also want to check out the dining and shopping in Clearwater. The Farmers' Market in Clearwater is a great place to stop for picnic supplies.
