Magical Micro A-Frame on the Sunshine Coast for the Best of British Columbia's Glamping
A-Frame in Halfmoon Bay, British Columbia
3 guests • 1 bedroom • 2 beds • 1 bathroom
Everyone loves A-Frames! This micro A-frame is magical. It looks small on the outside but feels more spacious, bright, and welcoming inside. Guests' favorite feature is the opening wall.
The beautiful live-edge countertop, wood cabinets, a couch that converts to a double bed with storage, loft sleeping/storage area, and hardwood floors are just some of the highlights. You'll find whimsical items, books to browse, a propane heater, a complete kitchen, a comfy couch & kitchen/work table. The clear wall that opens onto the small deck is so unique, and it really opens up the space. The barbecue and firepit are outdoors along with a dining set.
We live on a beautiful 10-acre Oceanview property that has a park-like feel. Guests can explore and enjoy our gardens, orchard, walking trails, and many seating areas. Guests can explore our property, including our orchard area, ponds, Loop Trail through the woods, organic gardens, and can visit with our hens and rabbits. NOTE: Our dogs roam freely around our house. If you want to see our ocean view and visit our hens and rabbits, it’s best if you leave your dog in your listing or car as we’re not always around to supervise them.
We are usually around and we’ll check in with you during your stay. We live in a semi-rural area in Halfmoon Bay, away from the main community. The properties around us on Stephens Way range from 2 - 10 acres. Part way up Stephens Way, you'll find power lines and there you'll find hiking and mountain biking trails all over. For convenience, the Halfmoon Bay General Store, about 5 minutes away, has a liquor store. Sechelt and Madeira Park are the closest towns with grocery stores and restaurants; they are within a 20-minute drive. There are many great ocean beach access spots along the Sunshine Coast highway and many swimming lakes are nearby, with Trout Lake being the closest.
You will need a car, motorcycle or electric bike/scooter to get around unless you're very fit and can cycle uphill. We're located 2.3 km up a winding road from the Sunshine Coast Highway.
PETS: We allow one well-behaved pet per stay, with an additional $40.00 fee. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
