This glamping cabin rental is perfect for guests looking to feel away from it all. It is nestled deep in the wilderness near Ottawa and is perfect for couples. There is one double bed and a sofa bed to sleep extra glampers. There is a wood stove for a wonderfully cozy heat as well as a gas furnace with thermostat if guests would rather dedicate all their time to the outdoors and come home to a warm and cozy cabin.

There is also a bathroom in the cabin with a modern Swedish dry eco toilet, along with a well-kept outhouse located just outside the rental. This off the grid cabin has no plumbing so there is no running water at this time. There is no shower facility in the winter but there is an outdoor solar shower in the warmer months.

Guests can enjoy a relaxing evening spent on the screened-in porch that is also a great place to enjoy a BBQ. There is also a full kitchen for guests to prepare delicious, fresh meals. The host provides a wide range of amenities but there is no electricity. or airc conditioner.

The cabin is completely off-the-grid but electricity is provided by a solar set up for lights only and there is a cozy fireplace inside. The host provides drinking water, a cooler with ice, and firewood for the wood stove if needed.
Guest will experience the chance to enjoy a digital detox, having limited cell reception on the hilltops and no wi-fi in the cabin.

The cabin is under one kilometre from the main compound and Fierobin Road. It is essential for guests to have an off-road experience and a four-wheel-drive vehicle to get to the property. Alternatively, there is a 20-minute hike up the mountain with approximately 150 feet in elevation, whereas guests are advised to pack their supplies accordingly. Guests will also have access to the local jeep service for additional luggage. This is for an extra fee of $50 for a round trip and the shuttle will only run during daylight hours.

Because of this hike up, guests are advised to arrive well before dark.

Water, firewood in winter, ice, and a cooler will be provided at the cabin so all they need to bring is their food and personal belongings.

Children under 10 should be monitored during the stay at all times as there is challenging terrain with some steep rocky areas.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own battery backups for personal devices. The solar setup is really meant for the lights only.

Smoking is not permitted inside the rental.

The area is known for its untouched beautiful nature with wild animals including bears and wolves. There are also several peaks to enjoy climbing, including one directly in front of the cabin. A good portion of the trails can be accessed by a four-wheel drive vehicle or a bicycle. For a relaxing day out, the small town of Ladysmith is a charming place to visit and offers a few cultural sights including a museum.
