This dome is located in Riñinahue Chile, where it is set near the eastern shore of Lago Ranco and the southern bank of the Nilahue River. Nestled in a lush, temperate forest on a peaceful, 2.7-acre property, the dome is situated just 1.2 miles from the beach of El Arenal at the feet of Illi hill. The surrounding forest is bursting with a variety of vegetation, including cypress trees, hazelnut trees, cinnamon, laurel, and hazel, which provide a leafy habitat to many species of birds that are native to southern Chile.

To the north, guests will find Huilo Huilo Biological Reservation and Shoshuenco Volcano, while to the south, they will find Puyehue National Park. The latter is composed of 220,000 acres of natural thermal springs, volcanoes, and dense forests, which are laced with numerous trails. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including pumas, grey foxes ferrets, coypus, wildcats, and skunks.

The dome is about two hours from Osorno, where the nearest international airport is located.

With the beach of El Arenal, Lago Ranco, and the Niahue River all nearby, guests will be well-positioned to enjoy a variety of water-based activities, such as swimming, kayaking, fishing, waterskiing, and guided boating tours of the 102,500-acre lake.

For enjoyment of the great outdoors on land, guests can visit Puyehue National Park, where they will find many trails for hiking, trekking, climbing, horseback riding, and mountain biking. While exploring the trails, guests will also enjoy many opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife viewing. Guests can also go bird watching right in the forest that surrounding the dome.

Guests can pursue all of the activities listed above on their own, or they can book kayaking adventures, biking trips, hiking excursions, and educational tours of an organic farm and a loop workshop directly through the host. For shopping and dining, guests will find a variety of options in Llifen and Futrono, which are about 20 minutes and 40 minutes away, respectively.
