Description of Glamping Units

There are three different types of rooms to choose from: honeymoon suites, deluxe bungalows and junior suites. All rooms offer safety deposit boxes, ample closets, hot water, tiled floors, ceiling fans, and 24-hour electricity provided by the hydroelectric and solar systems.

The honeymoon suites are extra-private, hidden away in the lush tropical greenery of the gardens, and feature a queen bed with mosquito net with a cooling overhead ceiling fan. Each has cushioned benches, a relaxing sitting area, and a large, tiled bathroom. The wood-beamed ceiling, shutters, and stained glass in the doors are hand-crafted by Costa Rican artisans. Outside, hammocks are placed where you’ll have the best views of the natural world all around. They are also great for enjoying a good book with a glass of red wine from your Jungle Minibar.

The deluxe bungalows are tucked away in their own private garden and offer a queen bed plus either two or three additional beds. They have the same wood-beamed ceiling, shutters, and stained glass in the doors as the honeymoon suites, designed by the same artisans. The bathroom has separate enclosures for the toilet and shower. The shower features glass and bamboo doors that face the gardens. The sink area is awash in a cool, ocean-like atmosphere emanating from a glass block wall in shades of blue and white. Hammocks are placed outside these accommodations as well.

The junior suites are the largest accommodations available and are divided into two interconnecting junior suites, which makes them ideal for family groups or friends. Each of the suites features a bedroom with a queen bed and single bed (both with mosquito nets), a comfortably-furnished living room with a fold-out sofa bed and a Jungle Minibar. The bathroom area features separate rooms for the shower and toilet, and a sink and mirror, beautifully decorated with colorful, Mexican tiles. Read More

  • Location + Surroundings

Costa Rica is a place of wonder because of its vast variety of landscapes and wildlife. National parks and animal refuges are common. The largest and most famous of the parks is Corcovado National Park, which is in the southwestern part of the country on the Osa Peninsula. The park is also part of the Osa Conservation Area and conserves the largest primary forest on the American Pacific coastline.

This jungle lodge is just on the edge of that park. 170 acres of rainforest surround the property, and below the accommodations you’ll find a palm-fringed beach and tropical gardens. Get ready to have the adventure of a lifetime without having to give up the luxurious lifestyle. Read More

    • Walking

Corcovado has been called by many the most biologically intense place on earth. In fact, this exact statement was issued by the National Geographic Society. If you can’t trust their opinion on Earth and nature, who can you trust? It is the last remaining Pacific lowland rainforest of sustainable size in Central America.

Corcovado National Park is within walking distance so your days will most likely begin with you and your naturalist guide taking a walk to spot wildlife including a vast variety of birds scattered throughout the park. At some point in the morning, you will come across a river and an incredible waterfall where you won’t be able to resist cooling off in one of the shaded pools of the rushing river. Post lunchtime is ideal for exploring the beach or simply relaxing, meditating and thinking about the beautiful morning you’ve just had. In the afternoon, you’ll walk a short distance along the coastal trail back to the lodge. Watch the sunset with a frosty margarita in hand to end the perfect day.

Other activities include a bird tour, San Josecito Tour, horseback riding, Caño Island Snorkeling, Claro Del Bosque Expedition, scuba diving, sea kayaking, mangrove tour, Sirena Park station, and sportfishing tour.
