The Space:
The studio features a queen bedroom with block-out blinds and a sofa bed in the living area that folds out to a double. A cot, high chair, and baby essentials are available on request.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, stove, washing machine, barista-style coffee and pod machine. To make your stay extra comfortable, we provide fresh eggs from our chickens, milk, bread, and continental breakfast supplies, so you can ease into your mornings without needing to rush out.

A Quiet Couples’ Retreat & Relaxed Solo Stay:
Perfectly suited to couples seeking a romantic, peaceful break, solo travellers visiting for work or leisure, or families wanting a calm, nature-filled getaway. With no traffic noise, fresh country air, and uninterrupted views, it’s a place to truly switch off.

Couples love the cosy queen bed, slow mornings with coffee on the doorstep, sunset walks up the hill, and quiet evenings with a record playing and a glass of Barossa wine. Solo travellers appreciate the calm environment, practical layout, and homely touches — ideal for unwinding after a workday or exploring the region at your own pace.

Nature, Animals & Outdoor Space:
Surrounded by bushland, the property is home to three horses, including our friendly Shetland pony Cookie, who loves a pat. Alpacas live next door, and along the road you may spot sheep, goats, kangaroos, koalas, and kookaburras. We also have a very friendly golden retriever, Maple, who loves everyone — but if you’re not keen on dogs, just let us know.

Guests enjoy peaceful walks along the quiet main road, with minimal traffic. A longer 30-minute walk to the top of the hill rewards you with stunning sunset views and a real sense of immersion in the landscape.

Family-Friendly Touches:
Welcoming for families, with an outdoor swing set, slide, kids’ boat for imaginative play, and a sandpit. If staying with children, we’re also happy to provide a box of toys and a creative activity box for drawing, colouring, and making. Baby essentials can be arranged on request.

Location:
Conveniently located:
• 15 minutes from Gawler and the Gawler Train Station (easy access to Adelaide CBD and the airport)
• 30 minutes to the Barossa Valley
• 5 minutes to Tenefeate Creek Wines
• 5 minutes to the newly upgraded One Tree Hill Playground
• 10 minutes to Para Wirra Conservation Park for walking trails and nature exploration
• 10 minutes to Al-Ru Farm

Connectivity & Entertainment:
Wi-Fi is available; however, due to our secluded bush setting, the connection can be patchy at times. Many guests enjoy the opportunity to slow down and unplug.

To help you unwind, the studio includes board games, colouring-in activities, a TV, and a record player.

Why Guests Love this:
• Peaceful bush setting on 10 acres
• Ideal for couples, solo travellers, and small families
• Fresh eggs, milk, bread & continental breakfast supplies provided
• Thoughtfully equipped, cosy studio
• Family-friendly outdoor play space
• Wildlife, walks, and sunsets at your doorstep
