Amazonas

The largest Brazilian state is also home to the highest mountain in the country as well as the largest river in the world. Amazonas 3.5 million residents are for the most part concentrated in the cities of Manaus and Belem, leaving a large part of the territory almost uninhabited. While a tropical climate characterizes most parts of Brazil, Amazonas has an equatorial climate with high temperatures and very high humidity. The Amazon rainforest covers a large portion of the state, attracting travelers and nature enthusiasts who hope to discover this unique biodiversity hotspot. Unique eco-lodges are nestled in some of the most unspoiled areas of the region, and mysterious treehouses rise up on the banks of the Amazon river. This is what we call a glampers paradise.
