Located in the township of Carling and overlooking Georgian Bay on Lake Huron, Ontario, this rental is surrounded by the natural beauty of the lake, and lots of stunning woodlands to explore. The rental is only 20 minutes drive from Killbear Provincial Park which has beautiful woodland and walking trails by the lake. There are various islands to explore, such as Limestone Islands Provincial Park, Franklin Island, Rose Island, and Bateau Island among others. The rental has views of the lake and it is close to great areas for canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and lots of other great outdoor activities. 30 minutes away is the town of Parry Sound with its beautiful marina and a golf club for anyone who fancies a round.

There is an abundance of activities for guests to get involved with. The White Squall Paddling Centre hires out all sorts of watersports based equipment. Glampers can rent kayaks or canoes, stand-up paddle boards, and the company also organizes boat tours. Killbear Provincial Park is only a short drive from the rental and it is a beautiful spot to explore with trails through woodlands and along the waterfront. The forest is filled with wildlife and is ideal for any photographer looking for inspiration. By boat, guests can enjoy the serene scenery of the Georgian Bay, they can eat at the Snug Harbour restaurant, or play volleyball at the beach nearby. The restaurant is reachable by car and the Snug Harbour Range Rear Lighthouse is reachable by boat, canoe, kayak, or even stand-up paddleboard.
