As a result of Colombia’s equatorial location, you’ll almost never find cold temperatures. However, with a solid wet and dry season, there definitely is a better time of year to go to Colombia. December to March is the dry season, with sunny days and warm weather, making it the best time to visit Colombia. There is a shorter dry season from July to September, as well, however during this period of the year you are more likely to encounter larger crowds and higher prices. Colombia’s first rainy season is from April to June and the second is October and November. If you plan to visit during these months, make sure to pack an umbrella and rain jacket! Temperatures in the country really depend on what region and altitude you are in. However, in general, temperatures range from 70-90°F (21-32°C) in lower altitudes and 35-50°F (2-10°C) in higher altitudes.
