The reserve boasts over 570 square miles of high altitude jungle bursting with unique animals and plants.

Lake Quilotoa, a stunning volcanic crater lake, is hiking distance from the property. Another incredible landmark within walking distance is the Rio Toachi Canyon, which is formed by the Rio Toachi cutting its way through loose volcanic ash.
