Welcome to our family camp! If you are looking for a cabin on a pristine Maine waterfront, this is your place! It is a perfect getaway for families seeking a rustic, nature-filled experience. Our property is all about embracing the great outdoors with simple, comfortable accommodations that bring you closer to nature!

Kayaks and a canoe are provided to fish, kayak, explore! Sit in our screened-in porch, watch the sunset from our lawn, and enjoy the fire pit under the Maine starry sky with s'mores for the family. Our cozy cabin provides the perfect retreat after a day of adventure.

This one-floor living provides 3 bedrooms and one full bathroom. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off from the day on the lake!

Bedrooms: 2 bedrooms with full beds and storage, one bedroom with 2 twin bunk beds and storage.
Bathroom: 1 large bathroom with a walk-in shower and plenty of storage, towels, and supplies.
Kitchen and living room: Our kitchen has spices and tons of cooking pots/pans/lobster cookers. You will not need much, to cook at home. The living room has a fireplace to heat up the cabin on cooler nights. There is plenty of seating, and games for the nights together!

There are bikes, table tennis, and cornhole. The kayaks and canoe have life preservers. The family really thought of everything to make your Maine memories.

No pets or animals please.

* This is a summer camp, not winterized. The wood stove provides great heat for the colder nights, but you will have to know how to build a fire. There are also detailed instructions in the guest book.

Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are approximately 20 miles away. Schoodic Point, and downeast Maine are approximately 15 miles. Ellsworth is just 8 miles away with shopping, restaurants, Shaws grocery store, LL Bean Outlet, Renys and more. There is hiking, swimming, antiquing, and more in the area with plenty of maps and brochures at the house.

Smoking and vaping are NOT allowed ANYWHERE on the property. Not inside, not outside. If smoking is detected inside the house, there will be an automatic $600 cleaning fee charged to your credit card.

Illegal activities are NOT allowed on the property, including, but not limited to, illegal substances, illegal drugs, and underage drinking.

People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person on the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.

If you are adding guest(s) to the guest party we must be notified IN ADVANCE of your reservation. In addition, the total number of guests must not exceed the maximum capacity of the home allowed.

You are a short-term renter, you are not considered a tenant for any rights or purposes.

The unit is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

Keep the property and all furnishings in good order.

Only use appliances for their intended uses.

PETS ARE NOT allowed.

Fire pits are not allowed on some properties. Please read the guest book. Some towns/properties do not allow ANY outdoor fires.

Swim at your own risk. Be aware of the tides, and storms coming in. Kayaks can be rented locally, and are not supplied.

Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units.

Water and Septic: The property is on a well and septic systems. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products or wipes should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products or wipes have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged for damages/repairs. When using the washer and dryer, please note that there may be minerals in the water that may affect the contents of the wash.

Check-in is at 3 pm, Check-out is at 10 am. Please pay attention to these times, the cleaners will be working to prepare the property promptly.

Please move any furniture, toys, bedding, etc back to where you found it before leaving.

Please clean the outdoor grill, table tops, range, counter tops, dishes, etc. before you leave. Please start a load of towels in the washing machine. Please strip sheets and put them on top of the beds. Please read the guest book for more relative instructions regarding your specific rental.

Please put trash out on trash day specific to your property. Instructions can be found in the guest book. We use garbage tags that we pay for, at most properties. Put your white kitchen garbage bags into one black outdoor garbage bag, and put ONE tag on the black bag only. If you are confused, please refer to the guest book, or call the property manager. It is important that trash goes out on trash days.

Recycling in Maine is not what it used to be. We are taking returnables only, that are redeemable for money. You can take them yourself to redeem or leave them in a separate bag for pickup. We do not recycle glass, misc. plastic, aluminum, etc.

Please report anything broken or damaged as soon as possible.
