This expansive three-story log cabin sits hidden among the trees in Mount Holly, Vermont. The cabin can accommodate up to 14 guests. The property boasts 21 acres of private land and 3000 square feet of comfortable living space, as well as three wood burning stoves that act as free standing fireplaces.

While there are only two "conventional" bedrooms in this three level log home (one of which is part of a completely separate "mother-in-law apartment" on the lower level of the house), there is also a fully enclosed queen size private sleeping loft (accessible only by the attached ladder (see photo)... plus a tiny (but still queen size) room that we call "the cave" because the roof of the house slopes down into it...there is plenty of sleeping room for two adults or two little ones in "the cave"... but no standing up or dancing around...unless you happen to be under four feet tall (think "sleeping quarters" in the cabin of a boat...minus the motion of the ocean). Again, all four of these private spaces are queen size.

There are also several "not-so-private" sleeping spaces ... everything from twin size built in "sleeping nooks" to full and queen size fold out futons on frames.

The main level includes the living room, a den area, a fully-equipped kitchen, one full bathroom and one half bathroom. The living room offers a comfy space to relax with sofas and a wood stove for added coziness. A dining table to seat eight people can be found in the living room, along with an additional dining table in the kitchen. The snug den provides more seating space with armchairs and a large round table. Cooking enthusiasts will have everything they need to prepare meals with a fully-equipped kitchen offering all the modern amenities. It comes complete with a refrigerator, a freezer, an oven, a stove, a dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster, and a grill. Guests will also find a coffee maker and grinder, essential pantry items, dishes, and utensils. The "mother-in-law" apartment on the lower level also has a completely equipped kitchen, as well as TV, stereo and wifi.

The cabin is equipped with two "smart" TVs, both with full movie packages, two DVD players, and two VCRs, to ensure the kids never get bored. A washing machine, a clothes dryer, laundry soap, towels, bed linens, and a hair dryer are also included.

Outside, the cabin boasts a deck on both the main level with access from the den and on the upper level with access from the master bedroom. Guests can enjoy a barbecue with the family on the outdoor gas grills anytime of year.

You get the entire house (and all twenty-one of the private acres upon which it sits), regardless of the number of people in your group. Utilities and snow plowing of the driveway in winter, after every storm, are included in your rental fee.

A housekeeper is included with this property. The property also offers off-street parking outside for guests bringing vehicles. Inside the cabin is fitted with heating, as well as Wi-Fi and a telephone.

During the summer, the cabin provides canoes, kayaks, and a rowboat for guests to use on the nearby lake.

During the winter, the cabin supplies five cords of seasoned firewood.
