It is a perfect family vacation home! Close to the dock, yet with views of the Gulf of Mexico, the home offers the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Enjoy a tandem kayak and stand-up paddleboards. The private beach is just a short walk down a sandy pathway.

It is only accessible by boat. You can not drive to the island. There is a water taxi available, and your rental includes an assigned dock slip as well!

The home is uniquely designed to maximize the views, with the living area on the top floor and bedrooms on the first floor. A separate guest apartment downstairs with its own bath offers additional room for last-minute guests, teenagers who wish to sleep late, or guests who like the idea of a cozy escape.

The master features a king, the second bedroom has a queen, the downstairs guest suite has a queen, and the bunk room has two doubles and one twin. Maximum occupancy is 10 (including all children/infants). We can not exceed occupancy in the home. Please note that an extra occupant fee and manager pre-approval are required for more than 6 guests. Rentals are limited to families, and no events are permitted.

The home was completely renovated following the hurricane and features a brand new kitchen, all new furniture, and spacious screened porches upstairs and downstairs to maximize the breeze and offer more outdoor living area.

Beach chairs and a variety of beach toys and gear are available for guests' use. There is a downstairs outdoor shower and a downstairs party deck for evening get-togethers.

Please note this home sleeps 10, but the rates are based on 6 guests....an additional guest fee is charged for guests over 6, to cover additional cleaning and trash removal costs.

Pet Policy - pet-friendly with $100 non-refundable fee per pet (max 2 pets). Some breeds may be excluded due to insurance restrictions.

Kayak/paddleboards- one tandem kayak and paddleboards included. Waiver signature required.

Additional Guests - Rates are based upon 6 guests. An extra occupant fee of $20 per night for each additional person will be applied to the reservation. Groups larger than 6 will be permitted only if the home is being rented by a single family, and manager pre-approval is required. Please be aware that occupant restrictions will include all children. We can not exceed 10 guests (including all children/infants).

Vacation Rental Damage Protection - $59 fee for “all risk” damage protection through Waivo.

Minimum Renter Age - 25

Boat Slip - included on dock number 82 (this is also where the water taxi will drop you off)

Complimentary Concierge- will meet you on the dock with a golf cart to assist with transporting your luggage and groceries to the home

Satellite TV - not available. Wifi is adequate for streaming via smart TV.

Grill Type - gas

Coffee maker - Keurig and drip (filters provided)

Parking - $8/ 8/night ($10/night if you have a boat trailer) at Eldred's Marina, where you meet the boat taxi

Holiday surcharges: applied for reservations for Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, and Christmas/New Year's timeframes. PLEASE NOTE THAT MINIMUM NIGHTLY STAYS MAY BE INCREASED FOR THESE DATES AS WELL.

It is a barrier island. Enjoy the beautiful Gulf beaches without the typical Florida crowds! There are no roads on the island. Just sandy pathways and beautiful nature. Please note that Google shows this property on the mainland.

Please evaluate your expectations before booking a stay. If you are expecting a polished "resort" atmosphere, Little Gasparilla is decidedly more rustic. During periods of heavy rain or tropical storms, there may be standing water on the roadways, at the dock, and around the house. This is a tropical environment with mosquitoes, rust, power outages, and other minor inconveniences. If you are expecting resort amenities and services, the island might not be for you.

I UNDERSTAND THIS HOME IS ON AN ISLAND WITH NO CAR ACCESS AND THAT I CAN NOT CHECK IN WITHOUT RETURNING A SIGNED CONTRACT

Pets are welcome with the payment of a $100 pet fee (per pet); pets must be current on their vaccinations and must be on preventative flea and tick control. Pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture. Please rinse sand from your pet before allowing him/her back into the house, and police the yard and beach of pet waste. The following breeds are NOT permitted: Akita, American Bulldog, Beaucerons, Caucasian Mountain Dog, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Great Danes, Keeshounds, Pit Bull, Staffordshire Terriers, Presa Canarios, or Rottweilers.

Guests are not allowed to exceed stated occupancy limits of the home, and ALL GUESTS (including children under 2) must be included in the total count of guests.

Each booking guest agrees to provide a list of all occupants and other contact info, and agrees not to exceed the number of occupants listed on the booking request submitted without prior permission. Prior to departure, you are required to wash your dishes and launder any beach towels you have used. Laundry facilities are provided.

No smoking anywhere on the property.

No parties allowed; only the people in the reservation may be at the house without prior permission. You will be required to sign our rental contract listing these terms. At least two members of your group must be age 25 or older.

Neither the property owner nor the rental manager is responsible for any inability to occupy the premises due to acts of God, including but not limited to hurricanes, windstorms, floods, or red tide. No refunds are issued for early departure or unused days. Any request to reschedule reservation dates is subject to approval of the property owner and, if approved, requires the tenant to pay a $200 non-refundable rescheduling fee. The rescheduling credit has no cash value, and no refunds will be issued if the tenant decides to cancel their rescheduled dates.

It is a small, family-friendly island. This is not a resort, and the entire island is basically private property, with the exception of some of the major roadways. Even established roadways often cross private property. Owners in the past have been willing to overlook people using these roads, but if trespassing turns into malicious mischief, entire sections of the island may become inaccessible to guests.
