The picturesque cottage (hottub, firepit, 625 gal pool across road) is a beautiful place to relax and unwind. Located at the top of a small hill, the cottage is nestled in the middle of nature. you might be visited by creatures with 2,4,6, or 8 legs. Fire pit. 7-acre Lake Gratitude is a short walk. Perfect solitude within a 2000 acre conservation easement. NO PETS. NO use of indoor fireplace. Base price is for two guests. Additional $40/night fee for more than two guests.

Pond house features two bedrooms and a loft that all share a full bathroom making this space is perfect for small families or besties. The kitchen holds a small dining area and overlooks the living room for added comfort and closeness. Charming in its rustic character, Pond House will help you remember the simple things in life. Outside Hot tub available ($50 setup fee required).

The Chelsea Hotels cabin has two bedrooms: #411 (the Janis Joplin Room) and #424 (the Leonard Cohen Room) .who had an infamous rendezvous at the Bohemian Chelsea
Hotel in New York City in the Spring of 1968. After her death at 27 in 1970, Cohen who stayed on this property, was inspired by Big East Fork Creek to write an elegy to Joplin.

You will receive the door punch code before you arrive onsite. The Fork Inn offices are located at 5528 Big East Fork Rd. Registered guests of the Fork Inn may park at the Lake Gratitude Natural Area parking lot. Car passes must be visible on windshield.

Pond Cottage has no close neighbors. It’s a rural paradise that's just a short walk from 6-acre lake Gratitude.

Uber operates here, but a personal or rental vehicle is recommended.

Please check in before dark as the Pond House can be difficult to find at night. As soon as you go into the driveway, make a right and go up the hill. The Pond House is to the right.

The price quoted is for Lodging only. If you are having an EVENT you must send a message to receive details and pricing. The internet is via cellular wi-fi hotspot. Although it is unlimited, it is not fast. The more folks on the system, the slower it works.

ADDITIONAL RULES
A government-issued photo ID must be shown or sent to the owner or designee prior to check-in. Check-in will be performed by the person making the reservation. If this person is not available or will arrive later, contact the owner prior to check-in to discuss alternate arrangements.

***Only the number of guests registered may be on premises***. Exceptions only with documented permission of owner (additional fees and guest list are required for events including, attendant who will help prepare seating, check-in guests, clean, and assist with our stewardship program: recycle, compost). All parties must end by 1am Unregistered guests are *trespassing* and may be prosecuted, so please do not invited them on premises without the owners permission. $100/night extra charge for each extra guest (including children) without documented permission of owner.

External surveillance monitor(s) help safeguard our guests and compliance with our house rules.

GUEST MUST KEEP HOUSE IN THE SAME CONDITION AS RECEIVED, with the exception that linens/towels. The guest is responsible for cleaning grills and ovens if they are made greasy/dirty. Excess trash or cleaning or not leaving furniture/carpets in their places may result in a portion of your security deposit being with-held. Don’t place trash outside of bins making it accessible to hungry critters. Use of confetti, candles, fireplace and outside fire pits, or moving of furniture are strictly prohibited without written permission of owner. No underage drinking of alcohol. Bachelore(ette) and other "high-risk" parties may require additional (fully-refundable) cash deposit. EXTRA CLEANING necessary by failure of guest to clean up after occupancy will be charged to the guest.

Winter rule: Propane usage in excess of $100 per day will be paid by the guest. Please keep windows and doors closed in cool weather and do not raise temperature above 70 degrees. Help us keep our energy usage (and cost to our guests) sustainable!

Your stay at the Lodging does not include access to the nearby Retreat or permission to hike its private trail system. Contact owner for day passes and event space rentals.

If you keep to the house rules, we will do everything we do our very best to make your stay enjoyable. Violating them may be costly and quite inconvenient. Seriously.
