Boerne is a city located in and the county seat of Kendall County, Texas. Settled right in the heart of Texas Hill Country, Boerne is close to many exciting places like San Antonio, which is about half an hour away, and Canyon Lake, as known as the ‘Jewel of Texas Hill Country’, which is under an hour away. The city itself has much to offer, including its own golf course at Fair Oaks Ranch Golf and Country Club, a couple of noteworthy geological formations, such as Cascade Caverns and Cave Without a Name (which is its name, really…) There are several other natural points of interest in the city - Joshua Springs Park and Preserve, which is ideal for dog-friendly hiking and wildlife observation, Boerne City Lake Park, and Kreuzberg Canyon Natural Area, to name but a few.
