Nestled on a small farm near a lake, this cozy cabin camping rental near Dallas, Texas, is rustic on the outside but ever so comfortable and contemporary on the inside. With an infrared heated front porch and a deck furnished with retro gliding love-seats, spring chairs, and bistro tables, it is the perfect retreat for up to seven guests. The property can accommodate more guests if necessary with raised air mattresses. In the evening guests can enjoy the moon and stars, listening to the coyotes howling, owls hooting, and numerous birds calling. In the morning, a cup of coffee can be enjoyed overlooking a little piece of heaven.

Upon entering the front door of this cabin, guests will find that the inside is not at all what guests would expect but instead, they are greeted with beautiful contemporary decorated with elaborate and extraordinary details that make everything come together.

The living room is set up for groups to get together. There are two extra long, adjustable twin-size beds that can be compared to theater chairs in the way there head raises, feet raised, and there zero gravity position. These beds are great to watch the 42 inch, flat screen Smart TV that swivels around for viewing with premium satellite channels or watching DVDs. Couples can push the beds together to make a king-size bed or individuals can keep them separate, comfy either way. A window unit cools and heats the entire cabin. The sofa folds out to a double-size bed with an above average mattress and an added mattress topper, sleeping one or two adults. The living room fireplace can be used year round to add a touch of romance and a down-home feeling. The large walk-in closet has plenty of shelves and hanging space for clothes, hangers, an ironing board, iron, and a clothes steamer.

Fit for a gourmet cook, the modern and fully equipped kitchen comes with an electric oven/stove, a full-size refrigerator, a dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster, a roaster oven for cooking the holiday turkey, service for twelve plus. The kitchen is also equipped with essentials such as a blender, pots, pans, cookie sheets, a cutting board, mixing bowls, utensils, storage containers, drinking glasses, coffee mugs, knives, a spice rack, a 12-cup coffee maker with free coffee, cream, decaffeinated coffee, orange juice, milk, water, soft drinks, and hot chocolate. There are also snacks and basic items in the pantry as well as condiments and some gourmet fixings. Bacon, eggs, muffins, oatmeal, pancake mix, microwaveable breakfast foods are supplied along with seasonal fruits for guests' breakfast meals.

Guests can use the large fire pit, the charcoal barbecue, and/or electric grill for grilling outdoors. Guests will have to supply food for dinner and lunches. Everything needed for grilling is supplied including hot dog roasting sticks, marshmallows, and supplies for s'mores.

Downstairs, off the kitchen, is a very small bedroom with an extra long twin-size bed. This bed is extra comfy and is just the spot for the guest, out of view from the living room, to get a good night’s sleep. The beautiful spiral staircase goes up to the large loft bedroom, where guests will find a king-size platform bed, romantic lighting, a ceiling fan/light - a replica of one found in the Hearst Castle Library, a small TV to watch the satellite from downstairs, and a desk that overlooks the wooded pasture. The extra large bathroom has a tub/shower combo with mineral salts and oils to soak aches and pains away. All toiletries and fluffy towels are provided. Guests can try out the new washer/dryer combo to wash clothes. All beds at the property have luxury and plush bedding, linens, and many pillows with a wide range of sizes and firmness. While staying at Ray Roberts Lake cabins, glampers are sure to have the best night’s sleep they have ever had, sleeping on specialty sheets that maintain the body’s temperature throughout the night.

At this bed and breakfast, guests can eat breakfast whenever they want without having to visit with the host and other travelers while eating breakfast! Everything needed to prepare the family meals is provided prior on arrival.

The outdoor fire pit is everyone's favorite for just sitting around the fire on lawn blankets and retro-style gliding loveseats and spring chairs, roasting hot dogs, and marshmallows or grilling steaks and hamburgers. Firewood is supplied by the host.

For the "city slickers," both an electric grill and a large charcoal barbecue are furnished with all utensils, pots, pans, charcoal, and lighter fluid for grilling.

The cabin is centrally located in the North Texas area, right beside Ray Roberts Lake State Park, where there are numerous events going on year round. Dallas is less than an hour away from this glamping site and offers guests plenty of sightseeing opportunities from visiting the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, the Dallas World Aquarium, and the American Airlines Center. Fort Worth is also a short distance from the luxury camping cabin, where guests can visit a variety of museums. Additionally, for those who would like to venture further and explore more of the surrounding areas and cities, Oklahoma City offers more attractions for guests to spend their days enriching their knowledge and cultural experiences.

Ray Roberts is known for its bass fishing and glampers will be referred to the best fishing guide in the area, where they can enjoy a day out on the lake fishing, water skiing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, jet skiing, and swimming. The North Texas Greenbelt is right off of Isle du Bois State Park and is perfect for walking, mountain biking, equestrian trails, and going down the river right below the dam.

Families like to get out of their city house and come out to play, hike through the wooded pasture, learn about nature or play on huge boulders out in the pasture during the day. At night, kids love to explore the outside with headlamps and flashlights. Bring tents and pitch it right next to the fire pit.

Spend a day at the races at Texas Motor Speedway, Fort Worth Stock Show, festivals in Denton and the surrounding areas, Denton County and Texas State Fairs. Visit numerous equine events, night/day at casinos, Texas Tulips, Peanut Festival, Bonnie and Clyde Days, self-guided tours of horse ranches, the perfect place for those with boat slips at the Marina for overnight sleeping.

There is a $200 refundable damage deposit that is held on the guest's card at the time of confirmation. This will be released back to the guest 7 days after check-out pending no damages.
