GOOD TO KNOW
The refuge is located in nature and is completely self-sufficient: electricity comes from solar panels, heating runs on gas, and running water is stored in a tank. You’ll have all the usual comforts, but the idea of this alternative habitat is also to raise awareness of our environmental impact.

For that reason, a few simple rules apply during your stay:
Except for phones and laptops, do not plug in any electrical devices other than those provided, as this could damage the solar system (no hairdryers, straighteners, raclette grills, etc.).
Fire risk is very high in nature—smoking and open flames (including barbecues) are strictly prohibited inside and around the refuge.
Wastewater is filtered by plants, so please use only the 100% natural products provided (shower gel, dish soap).
Pets are not allowed in the refuge.

ACCESS
Check-in: from 4 p.m.
Check-out: before 10 a.m.
Key box available for late arrivals.
Free parking near the refuge.

NOTES
The refuge is located within Carla’s equestrian center, where she and her team work. You may meet them and their animals (horses, dogs, etc.) during your stay.
There is no Wi-Fi in the accommodation.
The entrance to the refuge is not on ground level; it includes a small staircase of 3 steps.
The accommodation is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility
(PRM).
Bed linen is washed but not ironed.

We immerse you in extraordinary adventures, close to local people and their passions.
Our concept? We build beautiful eco-lodges, then install them for free at the homes of friendly hosts who wish to welcome travelers into the heart of their regions and curiosities.
Our ambition is to install 1,000 refuges with 1,000 fantastic hosts all over the world—Antarctica included!

HOUSE RULES
Please respect the following rules during your stay:
Do not run the gas stove for more than 2 hours at a time, and always turn it off at night by closing the gas valve completely. The stove’s gas bottle must also be turned off after each use.
Do not handle the gas bottles (except to close the valve at night) and do not disconnect the detectors.
If you smell gas: Danger! Open the windows, do not light any flame, leave the refuge, and contact your hosts immediately.
Due to the high risk of fire in nature, smoking and open flames (barbecue, candles, etc.) are strictly forbidden both inside and outside the refuge.
Only connect laptops, phones, and devices provided on-site. Do not tamper with the electrical systems.
Maintain an indoor temperature above 10 °C to prevent freezing.
Do not drink the shower water (it is non-potable). Drinking water is provided via a dispenser upon arrival; more can be requested if needed.
If water stops running, close all taps and immediately inform your hosts—even late at night—to avoid damage to the pump. If you cannot reach them, do not use the water until the issue is resolved.
These rules must be followed and represent your personal responsibility during the stay.
We cannot be held liable for any incidents resulting from failure to comply with these house rules.
