This charming tree house rental is located on a working farm site near Faro in the Algarve, Portugal, and can sleep two guests. The tree house rests in an 100-year-old walnut tree that overlooks one of the two mountain streams that runs through the property. To reach the accommodation, guests will have to drive down an unpaved dirt road on a hill, and wide and/or low-riding vehicles may have difficulty maneuvering here, as the road runs along the edge of cliff.

Guests will find themselves truly immersed in nature and will only have basic amenities. Near the tree house, guests will have a basic outdoor kitchen to make use of. Bathroom facilities include a composting toilet and a simple outdoor shower. Warm water is not always available, and if the composting toilet is out of order, guests will be asked to use the indoor bathroom at the main farmhouse. In addition, there is no cell phone coverage at the tree house.

This farm and glamping property offer simple, off-the-grid accommodations, and the farmhouse looks down the valley from one end to the yurt, with its accompanying "skydeck" at the other end. The tree house accommodation sits in the middle, nestled in one of the trees the farm is named after. Each accommodation has its own private compost bathroom and outdoor mini-kitchen.
