GOOD TO KNOW:
This place is set in nature and is completely self-sufficient. Electricity is generated by solar panels, and heating operates on gas. You’ll have all the usual comfort, but the goal of this alternative housing concept is also to encourage awareness of your environmental impact!
As such, a few simple rules apply during your stay:
Apart from phones and laptops, do not plug in any electrical devices other than those provided, as this could damage the solar system. This means no use of items such as hair dryers, straighteners, or raclette machines.
Due to the high fire risk in natural surroundings, smoking and open flames (barbecue, candles, etc.) are strictly prohibited inside and around the area.
Wastewater is filtered through plants, so only the 100% natural products provided may be used.
Pets are not allowed in the home.

NOTES
The place is located in a meadow on the farm of Marianne, Etienne, and André. Depending on the season, cows may be grazing nearby, just a few meters from your accommodation. A fence separates you from these peaceful animals.
Cleaning is included in the stay price.
There is no Wi-Fi in the accommodation.
Due to its unique design and access path, the place is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility (PRM).

ADDITIONAL RULES
Here are the house rules applicable during your stay:
Do not operate the gas stove for more than 1 hour at a time, and turn it off completely at night by closing the gas valve (turn the knob fully). The gas bottle for the cooker must also be closed after each use.
Do not handle the gas bottles (except the shut-off valve) and do not disconnect any detectors.
Gas smell = danger! If you smell gas, open the windows, do not light any flames, and exit the place immediately. Contact your hosts right away.
Because of the high wildfire risk, smoking or lighting any flames (barbecue, candles, etc.) is strictly prohibited inside the place and in the surrounding area.
Except for laptops, phones, and the devices provided, do not plug in any other electrical appliances, or you may lose power. Do not tamper with the electrical systems.
Ensure the indoor temperature remains above 10°C to prevent freezing.
Do not drink tap or shower water (non-potable). Your hosts will provide a drinking water dispenser on arrival; ask for a refill if needed.
If the shower runs out of water, close all taps and immediately inform your hosts — even late at night — to avoid pump damage. If you can’t reach them, stop using the shower until the issue is resolved.
This house manual must be respected, and you are personally responsible for complying with it during your stay.
We are not liable for any incidents resulting from non-compliance with these rules.
