At just 25 minutes from Montélimar, with its charming little streets and delicious cuisine, come and recharge in a setting typical of the Drôme plains.
Our nature-immersed refuge opens the doors to the Diois region, the Pre-Alps, and all their wonders — including the famous Synclinal Perché de Saoû, less than 20 minutes away.

SPACE
Located on Lucie’s horse farm (equestrian center), the refuge offers all modern comforts within 14 perfectly optimized square meters for a full nature experience:
Sleeping area: a queen-size bed (160x200 cm, for 2 adults) and a convertible bench (extra bed for 1 adult)
Kitchen area: refrigerator, gas stove, sink, utensils, dishes, and condiments
Dining area: high table and stools
Bathroom: sink, walk-in shower, and eco-friendly composting toilet
Soaps, towels, and bed linen provided
Heating via a gas stove
Ceiling fan for cooling (no air conditioning)
Outdoor furniture (except during winter): table, chairs & deck chairs (no barbecue)
Drinking water: 5-liter fountain provided – tap water is non-potable (used for showers and washing dishes only)
Cleaning included
Free parking

For dining, at extra cost and with a reservation at least 48 hours before your stay (and subject to availability afterward), your host offers breakfast or an aperitif platter made with local products.

You can also enjoy horseback rides directly from the refuge, depending on the equestrian center’s availability (rates upon request from your host, Lucie, to be contacted after booking).

GOOD TO KNOW
The refuge is off-grid and fully autonomous:
Electricity comes from solar panels, cooking and heating use gas, and running water is stored in a tank.

You’ll have all the usual comforts, but the spirit of this alternative habitat is to become more aware of your environmental impact.
Therefore, a few rules apply during your stay:
Apart from phones and laptops, do not plug in any other electrical devices (e.g., hair dryer, straightener, raclette machine) — this could damage the solar system.
Fire risk is high in this natural area — smoking and open flames (including barbecues) are strictly forbidden.
Wastewater is filtered by plants, so please use only the 100% natural products provided (shower gel, dish soap).
Pets are not allowed in the refuge.

NOTES
The refuge is located on the equestrian center run by your host Lucie, who lives and works on site — you may meet her and her animals during your stay.

Lucie also manages a small “guinguette” (outdoor café) on the property. You might hear some distant music at times — or better yet, you’re welcome to join the events!

There is no Wi-Fi in the accommodation.

Please note: the refuge entrance has a small three-step staircase and is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
Bed linen is washed but not ironed.

ADDITIONAL RULES
Here is the house manual applicable during your stay:
Do not run the gas stove heater for more than 2 hours at a time, and turn it off at night by closing the gas valve completely. The kitchen gas bottle must also be closed after each use.
Do not handle gas bottles (except to close the valve) or disconnect any detectors.
If you smell gas: Danger! Open the windows, do not light any flames, exit the refuge, and immediately contact your hosts.
Because of the high fire risk, smoking and open flames (barbecue, candles, etc.) are strictly forbidden both inside and around the refuge.
Only use your phone, laptop, or the devices provided — do not plug in any other electronics, as you may lose power. Do not tamper with the electrical system.
Keep the indoor temperature above 10°C (50°F) to avoid freezing.
Do not drink tap or shower water (non-potable). A drinking water fountain is provided on arrival; ask your hosts for refills if needed.
If no water comes from the taps, close them all and immediately inform your hosts (even late at night) to avoid damaging the pump. If unreachable, do not use the water until the issue is resolved.
This house manual must be respected and constitutes your personal responsibility during your stay.
