About this place

This geodesic dome is located on an idyllic smallholding near Foret de Chabrieres, France, and can accommodate four guests for a glamping getaway to the countryside of La Creuse. Shaded by chestnut trees, the dome contains an open-plan living and sleeping space in which guests will find a king-size bed, two twin-size beds, a sofa, and an armchair. Crisp cotton sheets are provided, along with plenty of pillows and blankets. A wall full of windows allows guests to enjoy panoramic views of their bucolic surroundings, while a wood-burning stove enables them to stay warm and cozy in the winter.

Outside, guests will find a private deck with a pair of canvas chairs and a wood-burning, Japanese-style hot tub filled with chemical-free water, shaded by a boulder, and positioned to allow guests to enjoy views of the sunset across the surrounding valley.

Along with the dome, guests will enjoy private access to a full bathroom in which they will find a shower, a toilet, and a sink, along with towels, toiletries, and a hairdryer. Guests will also enjoy shared access to the site's hammocks, a parking area, a west-facing dining area, a summer kitchen with a Kadia (a traditional Indian cooking bowl), and a communal kitchen. The latter is fully equipped with a double oven with a grill, a microwave, a four-burner stove, and an integrated fridge/freezer, along with a dining table with chairs, a television/radio, and Wi-Fi.
