GOOD TO KNOW
The refuge is set in nature and is completely self-sufficient: electricity is generated by solar panels, the kitchen and heating run on gas, and running water is stored in a tank. You have all the usual comforts, but the idea of an alternative habitat is also to become aware of your environmental impact!
As such, a few rules apply during your stay:
Apart from phones and laptops, do not plug in any other electrical devices than those provided — doing so could damage the solar system. This means you cannot use a hairdryer, straightener, or raclette grill, for example.
Because of the high fire risk in natural surroundings, it is strictly forbidden to smoke in or around the refuge, or to light any flames (no barbecues).
Wastewater is filtered by plants — please use only the 100% natural products provided (shower gel, dish soap).
Pets are not allowed in the refuge.
ACCESS
Check-in: from 4:00 PM

NOTES
The refuge is located on your host Olivia’s small farm, where she works daily. You may see her around during your stay.
There is no Wi-Fi in the cabin.
The entrance to the refuge is not at ground level and has a small 3-step staircase. The accommodation is not suitable for people with reduced mobility (PRM).
Bed linen is washed but not ironed.
We immerse you in extraordinary adventures, close to local people and their surroundings.
Our concept? We build beautiful eco-lodges and install them for free with friendly hosts who want to welcome travelers right in the heart of their regions, passions, and local treasures.
Our ambition is to install 1,000 refuges with 1,000 amazing hosts all over the world (Antarctica included!).
