This up-cycled city bus accommodation was inspired by recycling and nature and it offers glampers the chance to feel at one with Iceland's stunning wilderness. The bus is made up of five units with three units sleeping a total of 12 guests and two units sleeping eight. Every attentional to detail has been paid to the interior and guests will find unique and quirky furnishings such as antique lighting, original bus seats, and wood carvings. Each room is warm and cozy and features comfortable beds with extra blankets to keep warm even during the chilliest nights. There is also a small kitchenette with everything guests need for basic cooking including a stove, a fridge, and pots and pans. Guests will also find running water and heating.
A separate bath house is located on the property with toilets and showers.

The surrounding waters are wonderful for scuba diving and the area is popular with anglers due to the high concentration of brown trout and char. There are also many stunning hiking trails that cut through the abandoned farms at Hrauntún, Skógarkot, and Vatnskot. Horseback riding is another great way to explore the park and visitors should visit the parliament, which is the oldest existing parliament in the world. Guests should also visit the jaw-dropping hot springs at Geysir. A major tourist attraction, the sight of the active springs spouting water 30 meters high is something to behold! Those looking for the ultimate relaxation experience will love the Blue Lagoon—a geothermal spa located in a lava field.
