A simple comfortable camp with delicious, fresh innovative cuisine. There are 8 luxury double mobile tents with en-suite flushing loos and showers (hot and cold plumbed water). Tents are either twin or double with room for an extra bed. There is a lounge mess, a dining area and a swimming pool built into the natural features of the rock, overlooking the plains and hills in the distance.

The swimming pool as well as the mess area incorporate the natural look of the surrounding rock as much as possible, and overlook a waterhole which the resident wildlife visit from time to time.

This glamping option is located in Tsavo West alongside the boundary of Tsavo West National Park. The lodge itself is situated in the 12,000 acre Mbulia Conservancy that was initiated with the local community. Rather than being built and then trying to extend a helping hand to the local community, this lodge was built with and for the people and their community in order to benefit from protecting the resident wildlife, especially the elephants.

Perched on the side of Mbulia Hills, this lodge enjoys fantastic views looking out across the conservancy towards Ngulia Hills and Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. All of the eight permanent tented rooms were built to take the best advantage of these beautiful, expansive views across the plains.

Bush walking is the main attraction to Tsavo. You’ll be getting out into the open air and tracking the animals with your local expert guides who know this land like the backs of their hands. Day and night game driving is also allowed in this private conservancy, and a trip into Tsavo West with a picnic to spot even more game is a great day out. Tsavo also has fabulous bird life.
