Kahuranaki

Based near Hawke’s Bay, Kahuranaki is a historic landmark and the first mountain in the country to be registered with the New Zealand Historic Places Trust. There are many ancient burial sites in Kahuranaki, and there is also a burial cave (although sealed off since the 19th century).
