This unique Eco-friendly barn rental is located near Kimbolton on North Island, just north of Fielding and can accommodate up to six guests within two bedrooms. The first bedroom on the main level features a queen-size bed and two quirky bunk beds with twin-size mattresses. Up the ladder stairs is the second bedroom with a super king-size bed, peaked ceilings, and soft lighting for a cozy night's sleep. There is one bathroom complete with a toilet, a sink, plus an amazing rainfall shower head, with soft towels provided.

Guests will also be able to cook up some delicious meals for a hungry group in the kitchen space. The barn comes equipped with a gas hob, a refrigerator, a toaster, a kettle and with all the utensils and dishes needed. The chef can be kept company in the open living space with a dining table steps from the kitchen. Once a meal has been enjoyed, there is plenty of seating in the lounge area for guests to relax, or they can head outside to the beautiful gardens.

The outside space is not only stunning, but it boasts all kinds of unique birds including tuis, fantails, and kereru. Guests are encouraged to use the outdoor areas that include a brazier-style fire pit suitable for cooking, spots to sit, read a book, or relax while being surrounded by trees and the sounds of nature.

This is a quiet restful place, not suitable for parties.

This property only uses environmentally-friendly, chemical-free cleaning products, natural, New Zealand-made toiletries, and provides organic cotton towels and hypo-allergenic cotton sheets for the beds. Guests will be able to cook indoors and outside, courtesy of the gas hob in the kitchen, or the brazier fire pit area in the beautiful and well-landscaped garden.

Guests will be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature as unique birds including tuis, fantails and kereru all call this area home, as do the frogs who may be heard on a summer evening. Cyclists and motorbike enthusiasts will be able to hop on the Country Road Loop that goes down scenic paths to nearby towns like Apiti, where guests can then grab a bite at the Apiti Tavern & Eatery. Glampers seeking more intense hiking trails and different scenery can head to Ruahine Range, or venture through the caves and forests at the Limestone Creek Reserve Glow Worm Caves. Avid or beginner photographers will be able to get incredible shots of the scenery of the beautiful countryside right on the property, from Stormy Point Lookout, and at any of the parks nearby.
