Located just outside Nelson, New Zealand, this magnificent castle is surrounded by peaceful, rolling countryside. To the east, guests will find Rabbit Island, Ruby Bay, and Tasman Bay. To the west, they will find Kahurangi National Park, which encompasses 1,745 square miles of pristine natural beauty. To the south, they will find Mount Richmond Forest Park, which offers 640 more square miles of forests and mountains, as well as Nelson Lakes National Park. The site is about 40 minutes from the city of Nelson and it is five hours north of Christchurch. The journey from Wellington takes about six and a half hours with ferry transportation included.
