Ths Waiau campground has great short walks and cycling options to explore right on the rural surroundings. The South Island getaway is also a great base for Skiing at Mt Lyford Skifield. The small township enjoys fantastic 360° mountain views, amazing stargazing, fishing on the Waiau and Mason Rivers, short walks including a lovely Riverside walk by the river, and a great near new swimming pool complex (available during selected summer months). Glampers can also take a stroll around the Historic Trail and learn some of the local history.
