This secluded wooden cabin rental is found perched on the rocks above the Sever River near Marvão in Portugal, and is the perfect romantic getaway in the Alentejo countryside. The beautifully decorated wooden interior is cosy and colourful, with a plush double bed in the centre. There is a private shower and a compost toilet. Towels and linens are kindly provided.
Fresh spring water is available from the communal tap nearby, and guests are provided with a gas stove, an oven, and a cool box with ice. In the communal area, there are power sockets and a fridge/freezer. The cabin rental boasts a lovely wooden deck with a table and chairs, as well as a couple of swinging chairs, perfect for sitting together in the fresh air with a cold drink or two.

Surrounding the farm, there are medieval and Roman paths that invite guests to hike and explore the São Mamede Natural Park, which can be done on foot or even on horseback. There are some fantastic climbing spots in the park too, in case there are any adrenaline junkies in your party. On hot summer's days, guests can take a dip in the rocky rivers that flow through the park, and fantastic day trips can be had at Marvão, a medieval village and castle with 360-degree views of the surrounding area.
