This family-friendly cottage is located near Oudtshoorn in South Africa's Western Cape and can accommodate four guests (two adults and two children). There are two bedrooms, and one full bathroom. The first bedroom has a double bed. The second bedroom is based in the living area and has bunk beds suitable for children.
Outside, there is a terrace area with an outdoor dining table for meals looking out onto the sprawling farmland and beautiful surrounding mountain views.
The property itself is a peaceful getaway, offering uninterrupted views of the luscious green Swartberg Mountains. There are 2,000 acres of land where guests can truly get back to nature and experience the everyday life of a working farm. Guests can sit back and watch the fields being plowed and the livestock meander, or have a chat with the friendly property-owner about the history of the beautiful location.
There are a number of hiking trails on the farm itself for guests to take advantage of, plus an incredible array of bird species and plant life for glampers to enjoy.

Bird-watchers will be gleeful at the 180 species of birds recorded on the farm itself, and plant-lovers won't be disappointed by the array of flora in The Little Karoo, which boasts the second-largest plant biome on the planet, second only to the tropics.
There are plenty of famous Garden Route attractions nearby for glampers to explore, including the world-famous Cango Caves, the sprawling Oudtshoorn ostrich farms, the Kammanassie Nature Reserve, and Meiringspoort with its incredible rock formations and 60-meter waterfall.
To rest after a long day's activities, glampers can head into nearby Oudtshoorn to sample some wines from the Klein Karoo wine route, visit one of the region's quality restaurants, take a trip to one of the town's excellent art galleries, or go shopping for some ostrich-products to take home.
