For the super-fit, 500-meter elevation mountain bike trails are available and maps can be provided by the owners of the farm. Bird-watchers will be gleeful at the 180 species of birds recorded on the farm itself, and plant-lovers won't be disappointed by the array of flora in The Little Karoo, which boasts the second-largest plant biome on the planet, second only to the tropics. There are plenty of famous Garden Route attractions nearby for glampers to explore, including the world-famous Cango Caves, the sprawling Oudtshoorn ostrich farms, the Kammanassie Nature Reserve, and Meiringspoort with its incredible rock formations and 60-meter waterfall. To rest after a long day's activities, glampers can head into nearby Oudtshoorn to sample some wines from the Klein Karoo wine route, visit one of the region's quality restaurants, take a trip to one of the town's excellent art galleries, or go shopping for some ostrich-products to take home.
