Located deep in the Andalusian countryside in the village of Benamaurel, this truly unique property offers modern-day cave living combined with a fantastic location close to attractions and scenery. Just a 10-minute drive away, guests will find Mount Jabalcón, a gorgeous mountain that guests can hike to reach unbelievable panoramic views. Also nearby is Lake Negratín, which is home to Los Baños de Zújar, an outdoor thermal mineral water pool situated in a slightly elevated position on the edge of the lake at the base of Mount Jabalcón. Castril is only 30 minutes from the property and is a hub of outdoor recreation, making it popular with visitors. Only an hour from the property is the popular city of Granada, home to the Alhambra and thriving nightlife.

Nearby, guests will find Mount Jabalcón, which takes just 30 minutes to climb. From the top, there are magnificent panoramic views, making this spot a photographer's dream. At the base of the mountain is Los Baños de Zújar, an outdoor thermal mineral pool that is a must-see. It is long and spacious and directly overlooks Lake Negratín, where guests can swim, kayak, canoe, and boat.

Castril is also a must-see for guests, where they can go and explore Castillo de Castril or just cycle or hike through the surrounding countryside. It's likely that they will spot grazing goat herds and donkeys. There is a village market every Friday where the place comes alive with visitors from all around. Unlike the busier coastal areas, very few people here speak English, making the experience more authentic. However, visitors are made welcome and there is a tourist center with interesting information on the village.
