This glamping site is located in Santa Bárbara de Casa in the Huelva province of Spain where it is surrounded by a semi-arid landscape stippled with cistus scrub, pine, holm oak, and cork trees. To the northeast lies the Sierra Pelada y Ribera del Aserrador, a protected, uninhabited natural area in the foothills of the Sierra Morena mountains. It is full of rivers, streams, and woodlands, which provide habitats for otters, wildcats, mongooses, wild boars, and one of the largest colonies of black vultures in Andalucía.
The center of Santa Bárbara de Casa is just a kilometer to the south, where guests will find a few restaurants and shops within this small, historic village full of traditional, whitewashed buildings. The Portuguese border is just 22 minutes to the west, while the city of Huelva is about an hour and 10 minutes south. Here, guests will find many more shops and restaurants—although guests will not have to go anywhere for dining; there is a restaurant right on site!
