This gorgeous and eco-friendly cottage rental is located in the beautiful countryside of Asturias, Spain, near the city of Gijón. There is one bedroom furnished with both a double bed and a set of bunk beds. Downstairs, the sofa bed sleeps a further two guests, bringing the total capacity to six guests. The bathroom has a shower, a sink, and a toilet. Linens and towels are kindly provided by the hosts.

The cottage as hand-crafted doors and windows built from local sweet chestnut wood, and other building materials include clay tiles, local stone, and lime-based mortar. Electricity is generated by solar panels and all the water is from the property´s own spring. This means that staying at this cottage will have a much lower impact on the environment than in a regular house. It also means that guests will have the opportunity to disconnect from Wi-Fi and mobile phones: electricity and coverage are limited so guests come here to get away from it all.

There is a small kitchen and dining area, although it is likely most guests will want to take the cooking and eating outside onto the stone terrace, where they will find a dining table and a large family barbecue, perfect for al fresco cooking and dining.
