The ultimate holiday getaway nestled in the heart of Sweden's enchanting and serene native woodlands, enveloped by the gentle breezes, and relaxing soundscapes of nature—living in harmony with our forest critters such as moose, deer, foxes, and more.

What's more, we grow our food and produce natural goods that are good for our bodies, all while regenerating the soil and caring for the environment.

The Space:
This Tiny House is located in Alingsås, also known as the capital of Fika is filled is a charming neighborhood with cobblestone streets, wooden structures, and the signature fragrance of freshly ground coffee and pastries.

A comfortable accommodation located in a deep Nord Forest ecosystem surrounded by nature reserves, lakes, and native wildlife such as deer and moose to keep you company. It has easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. 


The bathroom follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water by using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment.

You should find all the necessary equipment inside during your stay. If you feel something is missing, please let us know so that we have the opportunity to improve your experience the next time you visit. Please keep in mind that this is a self-catering accommodation, so guests should bring basic requirements like food with them during their stay with us. Thank you!

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house, the private garden area, and our little fireplace. They are also free to walk in the forest around the property.

Interaction with Guests:
Guests will enjoy your own private space but we are always happy to chat with you.

The Neighborhood:
This Tiny House sits in the charming neighborhood of Alingsås, also known as the capital of Fika to the rest of the world.

Granvattnet, which translates as "spruce water," is the name of our neighborhood as there is enough water nearby to nourish our beloved deep forest of Birches, Poplars, Oaks, Beeches, Elms, and Ashes. If not, try mushrooms like brunsop, kantareller, or our favorite, karljohan.

Our local recommendations:

- Brobacka Coffee House, serving guests the best service, waffles, coffee, sandwiches, and homemade cakes since 1945. Beautiful hiking routes in pristine and preserved woodlands are just 11 minutes from the property.

- The Castle, also known as the Koberg Castle is a nickname derived from the German castle Coburg was originally a fortified house. It is a three-story building with about forty rooms and a 60-meter length, owned by Carl Silfverschiöld.

- Nolbygårds Ekobageri is a place where social, economic, and ecological sustainability is a guiding light for the activities on the farmyard. The common vision is to contribute to sustainable development with methods from the green and circular economy.

Getting Around:
By car:

- 15 min, 17 km drive from Alingsås
- 50 min, 54 km drive from Gothenburg

By public transport:

- Guests can arrive at Alingsås train station, and they have the option to arrange a taxi. Alternatively, I can pick them up and drop them off for an extra cost of €50

All nearby towns and attractions are reachable by 2WD, but in winter 4WD is recommended.

Other Things to Note:
- WiFi is only available from 5 AM to 11 PM
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- No smoking allowed inside, except in designated areas
- We provide a 2H fishing guide to guests upon prior notice
- You can bring your own charcoal or buy firewood from us for the BBQ grill
- Recycling is important, please separate compost, from plastics and papers
- We can also provide outdoor dinners upon prior notice and at an extra cost
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas, and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out in courtesy of other guests
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

Important note:

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
