This riverside accommodation is surrounded by sublime wilderness home to 11 Asian elephants. in the Mae Wang District of Thailand, and can accommodate five guests. There is a spacious bedroom, an ensuite bathroom, and a lovely outdoor area. The bedroom has a king-size bed with a mosquito net canopy and a fan. In case more sleeping space is needed, three additional cots can be added. In the bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a shower. Linens, towels, and toiletries are provided.
Other amenities include free Wi-Fi at the on-site cafe, air conditioning, a mini-fridge, and free parking on premises. A Western or Thai breakfast is served every morning at the on-site cafe.
Outside, there is a spacious deck with a seating area where guests can relax, enjoy each other’s company, or admire the river and elephant views. This property is located in the Mae Wang district, right in the heart of Thailand’s Chiang Mai Province. The area impresses with spectacular wildlife and abundant nature, but also historical, cultural, and religious landmarks. The property is situated in the Mae Wang National Park, only steps from the Mae Wang River, and south from the Mae Wang Elephant Camp.
Only a one-hour drive west of the property is Doi Inthanon National Park, an elevated park with spectacular panoramic sights, waterfalls, and Thailand’s highest peak. A little further from the property, approximately 40 miles north, but absolutely worth the trip, is the Tiger Kingdom Thailand, a place where brave visitors can get up-close and personal with tigers, under strictly supervised and secure conditions.
