This authentic getaway rental, with a private patio, is surrounded by the jungle hill tribes of Mae Wang in Thailand. The accommodation sleeps two glampers, perfect for solo travelers or a couple’s vacation, and comes with a bedroom, an ensuite bathroom, and an outdoor private area with lovely views.

The bedroom has a queen-size bed, a mosquito net canopy, a fan, and a mini-fridge. In the bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a shower. Linens, towels, and complimentary toiletries are provided.

Every morning, guests are served a complimentary Thai or western breakfast at the on-site cafe. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi at the cafe, free parking on the premises, and a shared washer and dryer.

Outside, there is a small private patio where guests can relax and enjoy the jaw-dropping surroundings. Days at the property can vary from thrilling adventures to complete and utter relaxation, and anything in-between. The wildlife, natural, cultural, and historical abundance in the area, offers glampers endless activities and adventure possibilities.

One of the unique activities available at the property is the possibility to get up-close and personal with elephants. Without lacking comfort and style, the property is nestled in the heart of a tropical forest and is also home to a family of 11 Asian elephants. The surroundings offer adventurers impressive sights, access to secret waterfalls, and hiking trails, but also opportunities for tubing or kayaking on the Mae Wang River.

There are lots of tours available in the area, many of them also including becoming friends with elephants, in a secure and safe environment, and without harming the animals in any way. Glampers will get the chance to learn what it’s like to care for an elephant, what it’s like to live in the jungle, and even spend the night in a hill tribe village.

Guests can visit the city of Chiang Mai and explore Buddhist temples, try Asian food, or adventure a little further away and visit the Tiger Kingdom Thailand, where they can interact with tigers. Other thrilling activities in the area include whitewater rafting and zip-lining.
