Description of Glamping Units
Guests need not worry about anything more than bedding, towels, and any other essentials they may require at these family-friendly wooden pod rentals in North Essex. These pods can each sleeps two adults or two adults and two children on a double bed and a large sofa bed.
There is a small kitchen area with a sink, a toaster, a kettle, a fridge, and a microwave, plus cutlery and melamine crockery for four people. A table and chairs and an iPod dock with DAB radio are also included in the cabin. There is an integral toilet and sink. One of the pods has its own solar-powered shower shed, while the other two cabins have integral wet rooms.
There are barbecues, but guests will need to bring their own charcoal. In addition, there is outside seating on a private deck and a fire pit. Campfires are not allowed.
The first two pods, the mega pods, have private two-person log-fired hot tubs, which are optional to book and available for an additional cost.
One dog per pod is allowed for an additional cost of £10 per stay. Read More

The site has stabling for around 12 horses, which should keep equine enthusiasts entertained. Thanks to this property being a potato farm before branching out to the world of glamping, guests are able to purchase a sack of potatoes during or at the end of their stay.

The county’s gently rolling landscapes speckled with picturesque towns and villages have inspired a range of well-known artists, for example, Constable who is famous for his paintings of Dedham which is not far from St Osyth, and Wivenhoe, a quaint village nearby which offers beautiful views and is home to some beautiful pottery artists.
Vibrant seaside towns such as Frinton and Walton merge with quiet, isolated beaches that in turn become networks of tidal inlets and estuaries, rich in wildlife and perfect for a relaxing day out. The towns of Brightlingsea and Mersea offer lovely day trips where guests can watch the local boats racing on a Sunday at Brightlingsea, or take a trip across the Strood to Mersea, (watch out for high tide!) and go for a walk along the beach before enjoying some delicious fresh seafood from The Company Shed restaurant.

The site welcomes well-behaved canine campers. Unfortunately, the hosts cannot accommodate large groups or anyone under the age of 25 without a parent or guardian. Proof of age may be requested.
