These robust, timber, eco-friendly cabins are an excellent choice of accommodation in Mawgan Porth. The cabins represent the very best in low carbon living, designed to our specification to give you the most comfortable and enjoyable eco-friendly holiday experience. The extensive landscaping provides the perfect backdrop for these low-impact, sustainable buildings.

The cabins are constructed using renewable building materials, which incorporate air source heating systems with user friendly fresh air input, solar thermal panels for solar heating, and hot water. They are timber-built using FSC controlled wood and are built to a very high standard, achieving building regulation approval. The natural flooring, combined with natural fibers and furnishings create a warm and welcoming environment.

The lodges have two or three bedrooms, sleeping four or six people, and the fully fitted kitchens and bathrooms are very well equipped. One of the lodges is specifically designed to create top quality disability access with ramps, bathing facilities and thresholds to allow easy wheelchair maneuverability.
All the eco lodges are single storey and have spacious open-plan living and dining areas. The fitted kitchens have wooden worktops, a dishwasher, a gas stove, an electric oven, a washing machine, and a fridge/freezer. Some of the larger lodges have a small utility area which houses a washing machine and a dryer. The living room is equipped with a flat screen television, DVD player and Freeview, comfortable seating and natural textile rugs. The lodges have either a wood-burning stove or a contemporary fire.

The two-bed lodges have one double bed and zip and link twin beds in the second bedroom, which can be made up as a second double bed. The three-bed lodges have two double bedrooms and a twin room with two singles. Bed linen is included and one bath and hand towel is provided for each person. All the beds have a choice of hypo allergenic or feather bedding and Ecover cleaning products are supplied in each lodge. Every lodge has a decked garden area with outdoor seating, and a BBQ.

The history and importance of the coastal area where we are based clearly remind us of the significance we must place on preserving the countryside and coast for future generations to enjoy. Our eco cabins epitomize the balance that can be achieved between sustaining the environment and creating modern, luxury holiday accommodation.

A choice of spa treatments is also available in the comfort of your on-site accommodation, for those who would like to relax even more!

As for outdoor activities, there is an outdoor heated swimming pool available for all guests to enjoy.

There is a secure toddlers’ play area so parents can kick back and relax while the little ones use up some of that boundless energy and, if that’s not enough, the giant trampoline should do the trick!
A traditional yurt play area filled with soft play equipment and toys is also available for children to enjoy, come rain or shine. It’s the ideal place for children to meet and play together.

Explore our conservation area, with walkways through areas of wild flowers and plants, keeping your eyes open for the many rabbits, foxes and badgers which have made their homes here. There is an enormous range of bird life too and we can give you information about our regular inhabitants if that birdsong eludes you. The Vale of Lanherne is a unique natural environment in this exquisite part of Cornwall and we will be enhancing this through further native planting and landscaping.

Our gardening team has also been busy landscaping new suntanning spots and private gardens for guests to enjoy the good weather in. The deck surrounding the outdoor pool is also a great spot to sit and enjoy a drink.

Experience our beach cafe which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, just a minute’s walk from all of the accommodations. You can choose between the indoor terrace or dine alfresco atop a spacious sun deck on fun-funky seating that’s shaded by trees.

Unwind as our artisan chef creates a variety of fantastic home-cooked dishes using fresh local ingredients and superb Mediterranean flavors. The menus are created daily which means each dish is made using fresh seasonal produce that has been caught or harvested the same day. Our chef can also cook meals to order if there is something you would like but don't see on the menu - simply give him some notice and he’ll arrange it.

As for feeding the little ones, we have family menus so kids can enjoy their meal-time favorites including dippy boiled eggs laid by our own chickens and home-made fish fingers (menu varies). It’s no bother if they can’t sit still for long as our fun toy box will keep them entertained.

If you love comfort food and deli cuisine then try our freshly-baked breads, cakes, pies, quiches, and puddings, all lovingly crafted by an artisan chef. These hand-made treats taste spectacular with a freshly-brewed coffee or you can choose a suitable aperitif from our extensive wine list.
