Description of Glamping Units

There are two Double Ecopods (each sleeps 2) and one Family Ecopod (sleeps 4). The Doubles have a double bed for two whereas the Family Ecopod has a double bed, a bunk bed and a single bed for the kids. There is no electricity in the Ecopods in order to keep with the ‘eco-glamping' theme. There are lanterns for T-lights though so you can sit outside and gaze at the stars.

You will need to bring your own bedding (sheets, duvet/sleeping bag and pillows) and perhaps some chairs for sitting around the campfire and toasting some marshmallows. Campfire cooking only - there are no cooking facilities inside so bring a camping stove with you so you don’t have to crank up the fire in the morning. Read More

In keeping with the campfire theme, the water is heated by wood-fired boiler and there is a heat recovery system to help the site stay as eco-friendly as possible. There is a food preparation room, modern heated toilet and shower block with privacy cubicles, free showers, and disabled toilet and shower on site, and all electricity is supplied by Ecotricity who maintain that all electricity comes from renewable energy sources.
