Shropshire makes for an incredible getaway to the countryside as it is rich in history and culture as well as boasting some of England’s most beautiful landscapes. The Shropshire hills were formed by volcanic activity in the Cambrian age and have been designated an “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty” by Natural England, an organization aiming to preserve England’s natural environment. The walking and mountain biking routes throughout the hills are popular with tourists and locals alike and history buffs will love learning about its ancient residents, the Romans, Saxons, and early Britons. Nearby Stokesay Castle was built in the 13th century and offers an insight into Middle Ages life while the RAF Museum in Cosford boasts world-class exhibitions of a range of aircraft from the early 20th century to the latest innovations.

On-site, guests can relax with a book in hand in the garden patio or soak in the luxury hot tub under the stars before snuggling up inside.
