This unique, converted fire truck rental is located near Telford, England, in the Shropshire Hills and is located in a secluded area of the site only accessible on foot. This is a cozy place to stay and the perfect romantic retreat for glampers.

The truck has a beautiful double bed with a range of furniture surrounding it. Guests will find old wine crates, lanterns, and wicker chairs in the accommodation. There is a long-drop toilet close by and a shower has been fitted into a renovated van. There is drinking water available from an outside tap and guests are provided with a one-ring gas stove for cooking purposes.

The surrounding woodland is beautiful and perfect for walking and exploring. As such, guests are advised to bring sturdy footwear and a torch for the evenings. A well as stunning walks, there are two natural pools which guests are welcome to fish from.

Please note that this accommodation is not available between November 1 and March 23.

All guests have access to the stunning grounds that include a lake, two natural pools, and an Arboretum. The pools have rowing boats and fishing facilities as well.

Guests staying in yurts and caravans have access to a shared gas-powered shower in a caravan central to the Arboretum. There is also a facilities block available to use at the nearby campsite which is owned by the same host. Towels are not provided in these accommodations.

Weekend breaks are for two nights on either a Friday and Saturday night or Saturday and Sunday night.

Mid-week breaks are for four nights from Monday-Friday.

Weekly stays are also available, but please note that at Christmas, New Year, and Easter, all bookings are for a minimum of seven nights.

Guests staying in the yurts and caravans will need to bring their own towels. Drinking water is provided upon arrival in these accommodations, and guests will then be able to top-up their reserves when necessary.

There are numerous outdoor activities available in the Shropshire Hills. Glampers can go rafting and canoeing or, alternatively, experience the county from the sky in a hot air balloon with Virgin Balloon Flights. The Shropshire Hills are perfect for hikes and experiencing the English countryside. There are numerous museums and historical sites in the surrounding towns and villages, such as Stokesay Castle. Glampers can explore the beautiful town of Shrewsbury, historic Worcester, and visit the vibrant city of Birmingham.

There are also a lot of activities that guests can do at the glamping site. There are two secluded pools which are perfect for fishing. Guests can take out one of the rowing boats on the large lake on the property. The Arboretum is a beautiful place to explore for its natural beauty and wildlife.

In the evenings, guests can get a taste of one Britain’s greatest traditions; an ale from the local brewery and delicious food served at the local pub.
