To suit all tastes, glampers can choose to drive a modern or classic campervan hire. There are six beautifully maintained Volkswagens to choose from that are sure to turn heads wherever they go. Each campervan rental has an integral sink and cooker with a spare gas cylinder and a fridge, as well as integral petrol, diesel, or gas heaters. This is with the exception of Sally, which has a cool box with complimentary ice packs and freestanding gas and electric heaters.

Each glam camper has a 12-volt leisure battery, cigarette lighter sockets, a 230-volt mains hook-up system, and three-pin plug sockets. With the exception of Oscar, each has an AUX wire for music players. Each campervan has a small kitchen, which includes a small kettle, cooking and eating utensils, a small coffeemaker, and a cleaning kit. Heidi and Sally have a hob toaster rather than a grill.

These campervan rentals each come with a sun canopy, a windbreak, and outdoor camping chairs. They also each have a flashlight, a wind-up lantern, leveling wheel clocks, a first aid kit, a breakdown safety kit, and a fire safety kit. A road atlas, a Scottish Borders map, a Scottish Campsites map, a van information pack, and a Camping and Caravanning Club membership pack are also included.

Oscar: This modern campervan rental has a new interior and is wheelchair accessible. It can drive four adults plus an additional child, and it can comfortably sleep three adults. Alternatively, it can sleep two adults and two children. There are two double beds, and it is fully insulated and has thermal curtains. The kitchen includes an oven. This glam camper can be taken abroad.

Heidi: This fully-restored 1972 vintage camper rental can drive five people, and it can comfortably sleep three adults. Alternatively, it can sleep two adults and two children. It has a three-quarter-size bed and a bed in the pop-up roof.

Daisy: This modern glam camper is styled to look retro and classic. It can drive up to five people, and it can comfortably sleep three adults. Alternatively, it can sleep two adults and two children. It has a double bed and a roof bed. This glam camper can be taken abroad.

Bluebell: This restored 1976 vintage campervan rental is referred to as a “tin top” because of its non-raising roof. It can drive up to five people, and it can sleep two adults and an additional two children. It has a king-size bed, a cab bunk, and room for a small cot. A small child can sleep in the cab hammock. This glam camper is great for weddings because of its striking color and new leather interior.

Sally: Imported from France, this 1972 retro campervan is a left-hand drive and offers a smooth and comfortable driving experience. It can drive up to five people, and it can sleep up to three adults, or alternatively, it can sleep two adults and two children. An additional baby or toddler can also be accommodated. It has a king-size bed, a double bed in the roof area, and a hammock.

Mr. T: Created in 1990, this retro campervan has a unique 80s vibe that guests are sure to love. It can drive up to four people, and it can comfortably sleep three adults. Alternatively, it can sleep two adults and two children. There are two three-quarter-size beds. It is spacious and can provide additional seating when the passenger seat swivels. It also has thermal curtains.

Additional Information

Oliver is available throughout the year but Oscar and Heather are only available from March until the end of October. There is a three-night minimum to book. Rates vary according to the time of year.

There is a limit of driving 150 miles per day for these campervans. There is a $0.61 charge per mile over the mileage limit. The minimum age for driving is 23.

Dogs are welcome to join in the glamping experience except for Oliver. There is an additional cleaning fee for pets.

Smoking is prohibited inside the campervans.

Extra glampers can be accommodated if a tent awning is hired for an extra charge, but be sure to check how many people your van seats for travelling! Guests can also bring their own tents.
