Truly unique places to stay in Wales: holiday homes in nature
This lovingly converted Bedford Plaxton Panorama bus from 1968 is perfect for Pembrokeshire glamping getaways. Wales holidays here offer a true nature adventure and the unique retreat comes with a plush double bed as well as a sofa bed to accommodate up to four guests. All bedding and towels are kindly provided.
The hosts aim for a low impact setup which is why they have a compost toilet and provide guests with non-chemical products. Guests also have access to a wooden shower block with two separate shower rooms containing gas powered hot showers and washbasins with hot water. Guests will have the exclusive use of one of the cubicles during their stay in Wales.
The hosts provide several thoughtful additions to ensure a great holiday in Wales including a wood burner, a gas double hob, a fridge, as well as plenty of kitchen essentials including some ground coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Other handy amenities include a small electric heater for colder nights, although wood is supplied for the stove.
Outside, guests can explore the beautiful grounds and there are several communal areas for guests to use including an old cow shed with a covered area with a pool table and a table tennis table as well as a yoga shed that guests can reserve with prior notice.

Guests will have plenty to do during their unique holiday in Pembrokeshire. Glampers will be within just a few minutes of the stunning Preseli mountain pathways, standing stones, and the source of the famous 'Bluestones' of Stonehenge. Guests can truly immerse themselves in the surrounding nature whilst red kites and buzzards soar above and stonechats call from the tops of the gorse bushes.
If guests want to play games the hosts have an old cow shed with a covered area which includes a pool table and a table tennis table, as well as a great chill-out area. This is the only shared area with guests staying in the other rental but it’s open-plan, not an enclosed space. The hosts will leave out cleaning spray if guests would like to clean any pool cues or tennis bats. Guests should note that the games tables are only available in the warmer, dryer months.
