Caroga Lake

Caroga Lake is a small place, which is named after the lake on which it rests, in the heart of the sprawling Adirondack Mountains. Its proximity to the surrounding mountains are a huge reason as to why it attracts many visitors every year, but the peaceful lakeside atmosphere is something that created a special memory for all who visit. The nearby Adirondack State Park showcases some of the best parts of the mountain range, where you can hike over the mountain tops, and even climb up the mountain sides when the weather permits. Here, you can also catch some of the best mountain panoramas in the area. Just south of Caroga Lake, Royal Mountain Ski Area is a hotspot for winter sports when ski season rolls around.
