This bed and breakfast is located in Confluence, Pennsylvania, and is situated within walking distance to the peaceful intersection between Casselman River, Laurel Hill Creek, and Youghiogheny River. Guests are also in the close vicinity of the town square, some intriguing boutiques, and tasty cafes. It's approximately 10 miles to Ohiopyle, an idyllic town to the northwest of the property and surrounded by a beautiful state park. This area is world-famous for its architectural significance; two of Frank Lloyd Wright's most important private homes are built nearby, including the inimitable Fallingwater located in Mill Run, and Kentuck Knob, perhaps lesser known but worth a trip nonetheless.

Other points of interest close by are Lady Luck Casino Nemacolin and Fort Necessity National Battlefield, both found further up National Pike, one of the first major highways of the United States. For guests requiring a flight to reach the property, Pittsburgh International Airport is only 95 miles away.

With so many rivers and creeks snaking through the aptly-named town of Confluence, it's no wonder that boating and fishing activities are enduringly popular around these parts. The Youghiogheny River may be hard to pronounce but is so easy to have fun on, with a bevy of whitewater rafting opportunities dotted up and down its banks. There are scenic hiking trails located inside Ohiopyle State Park, but some of the best views are to be had at the very top of Mt. Davis, located nearby and known as Pennsylvania's highest peak. Even traveling here in winter has its perks, with Wisp Ski Resort just across the border in Maryland, providing some excellent sledding and skiing opportunities. Confluence also features the Redneck Disc Golf Course, an absolute blast for anyone willing to try, and the perfect destination to fill in a free afternoon.
