About this place

This renovated cabin has retained its unique rustic charm and is set on a farm near Reading and Robesonia, Pennsylvania. It is the ideal location for a couples' getaway and a chance to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. There is a queen-size bed and a beautiful closet for storage. The private bathroom has a walk-in shower, a vanity, and towels and soap are provided.

The cabin has been furnished with rustic furniture in keeping with the style and aesthetic of the original building. A lot of the furniture has in fact been made by the hosts themselves. The kitchenette is fully equipped with everything that Glampers will need to prepare meals each day, and the tinsmith sink has been handcrafted by the hosts. The cabin has air conditioning. The hosts provide free Wi-Fi. The kitchenette is fully equipped with an oven, a stove, a fridge, a microwave, a coffee pot, all utensils, and crockery.

Guests are free to explore the farm. There are some donkeys and a horse that call the farm home, and guests are more than welcome to interact with them from outside of the corrals.

There is an abundance of wholesome activities for guests to enjoy in the area. Blue Marsh Recreation Area is perfect for a day out filled with active pastimes. Here, guests can hike or bike on some beautiful trails. There are also places to hire a kayak and head out on the lake. The lake has some great spots for fishing, and at certain times of the year, there is the possibility of hunting. For wine lovers, there is the Berks County Wine Trail. Guests can head to the Clover Hill Vineyards and Winery, less than five minutes away, the Calvaresi Winery, the J. Maki Winery, and the Vynecrest Winery and enjoy tours and tastings. The area is very popular for antiquing.

Around the town of Adamstown in particular, there are lots of antique stores for guests to explore. There are some great local restaurants to try out, and for any sports fans, there is the Santander Arena, which hosts ice hockey matches. The Santander also hosts to top billing entertainment throughout the year. The Mid-Atlantic Air Museum is another interesting venue with WWII vintage restored airplanes and the annual WWII air show in June.
