Romantic Woodland Cabin Getaway near Charleston, West Virginia
This romantic cabin tucked away in the woodlands is the ultimate couples retreat but also perfect for bringing the kids along too. It can accommodate up to six people and is made up of one queen-size bed, two twin beds located in the loft, which is accessed by a ladder, and one queen-size sleeper sofa.
The cabin sits on 1,200 square feet of living space and comes with one bathroom featuring heated floors and a snug living area with a fireplace. It also has a fully stocked kitchenette complete with a refrigerator, a stove, a microwave, a toaster, and a Keurig coffee maker. Guests will find a TV with a DVD player only and can choose from a selection of movies to enjoy a cozy evening in. In addition to this, the cabin is fitted with air conditioning and heating and is stocked with linens and towels for guests to use throughout their stay.
Guests will enjoy the beautiful grounds of the lodge and the Rich Creek that winds around the property. This creek is a cool water trout creek that offers great fishing.

The New River and Gauley River are both under two hours away, and during the winter, the Winterplace Ski Resort is just a 45-minute drive away. There are many outdoor adventures to be had in West Virginia. A hiker's haven, the Hatfield & McCoy Trail System covers hundreds of miles of off-road trails and there are trails to suit every level. What's more, there is also the famous Appalachian Trail nearby, as well as many beautiful walking trails on the grounds of the lodge. Those that like a thrill, will love the whitewater rafting and river tubing on the New River and Gauley River. Glampers can also explore the Organ Cave and rock climb at The New River Gorge. During the Winter months, the mountains turn into a skiers paradise with many slopes at the Winterplace Ski Resort and snow tubing opportunities. Golfing enthusiasts will also be spoilt for choice with many resorts such as the Fountain Springs Golf Course and the Greenbrier Golf Course nearby. -
